MISSION OF EVANGELISATION IN THE REPUBLIC DEMOCRATIC OF CONGO (DRC)
INTRODUCTION
The Republic Democratic of Congo is the African country that is localized in the central and it are the 3rd country after Algeria. According to his history, this country has been touched by many problems of war that put native people into the economic, religious and political instability. Among the 11 provinces in the country, 3 one in the East Congo (North-Kivu, South-Kivu and Shaba) were completely traumatized by this interethnic war that took away million and million of lives. Cause of insecurity and other social problems, people, especially Christians fell down in their faith and let the place to the devil.
So, with the peace process of Lusaka and South Africa, the agreement has been signed between the different politic groups, and now the people feel to be secured as the country seems to be the democratic one.
Evangelisation in the province of Shaba
The province of Shaba is one among other provinces in the Republic Democratic of Congo and is found on South of the Republic and at 2.500 km from Burundi. The province of Shaba is limited in the north by Kassai provinces, on South by the Republic of Zambia, East by Tanzania and West by Angola. It is the biggest province in the country and the most popular as it is very rich in mineral resources, agricultural and breeding and it is the focal point of trading with many countries in Africa (Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Malawi, Namibia and Mozambique). All transport means in the province are available; you can find air plane, railway, maritime and road. According to the population in the province, there is a lot of tribes, like Luba, Baholoholo, Bakalanga… As the country has received Jesus Christ since before, there are many religions; we can find Catholics, Protestants, Kimbanguists, and also Moslem.
Apostle Missionary as I am, on 16/10/2010, I received a message from the Lord God of doing the mission of evangelization to different churches, factories, companies and families in the province of Shaba in the Republic of Congo. My mission took one month, from 19/10/2010 to 30/11/2010.
The mission of going to Shaba province was to preach the speech of God to people who were before lost in the Satanism, to make them understood how much God is important for their life and as we are strangers in this world, to make them following Jesus our Savior in order to be with Him in the Kingdom of God forever.
God loves his people; He can not accept his children suffering or being slaves of sins. Powerful He is, the time of looking for the lost sheep is reaching, in order to bring them to our Father’s house.
I left Bujumbura by bus to Uvira, from Uvira, I took a chip to Kalemie. As Kalemi is in the Shaba province, I started to preach the speech of God to people in the street, in the power of God church, the seminary has been done with the church leaders and other Christians, I prayed for people who were suffering from a different kind of illness, and taught them the speech of God.
After, I traveled by train to Nyunzu at 195 km from Kalemie. We praise the Lord God because He did many miracles. I have made the evangelization campaign on Thursday at 3 p.m; there were a number of 3.576 persons who participated, the believers were 36, the healed people where 10. An other evangelization campaign has been done on Saturday, there were 4.500 members participated, believers where 74 and 20 where healed.
At Nyunzu zone, they still practice the system of traditional fetishism, I preached them the gospel and told them leave these Satanism actions and follow the only one God in order to be saved in Jesus name. Many thanks for the love from you when I was absent, as you were in correspondence with the ministry, and now I am reaching in Bujumbura, let us be in contact for the glory of God.
According to the crusade we have told you before, we are now preparing it, we mean that in fifteen December, we will start it.
To enclose, I praise the Lord God for protecting me in my long way, and I thank to the Bethsaida Christians for their contribution in transport facilities, accommodation and the mission order, after many thanks to the people of Kalemi and Nyunzu for welcoming me in their church in order to share the speech of God in Jesus name together. As if I am not their for a long time, we are together in Jesus name as we are one family made by the blood of Jesus Christ. Shortly, my mission has been well done, and God be praised for loving his children.
